Attorney Scott Loftis of Montgomery, AL; rubber check aficionado

The state of Alabama presented Scott Lee Loftis with a law license in 2002 after he graduated from Faulkner University School of Law.

The Alabama State Bar Association found Scotty guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to safeguard client funds
  • Engaged in conduct that adversely reflects on his fitness to practice law
  • Wrote personal check on insufficient funds account (rubber)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Scotty and his firm fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on their self-serving website at www.theandersonlawfirm.com.  Apparently, they decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients so that they would not limit his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. June 2020), Scotty practices with The Anderson Law Firm LLC at 7515 Halcyon Pointe Drive in Montgomery, Alabama.
