Judge Ioana Petrous of Oakland, CA; incompetent boob

The state of California provided Ioana Petrous with a law license in 1993 after she graduated from the University California Berkeley School of Law.

In one matter, Judge Petrous was assigned involving the summary suspension of a person’s driver’s license based on a failure to appear. In her infinite ignorance, Petrous sided with the DMV in ruling that failure to appear justified the suspension of an individual’s license.

Subsequently, Judge Petrous’ incompetent ruling was appeal to the local Court of Appeal. In reversing Petrous’ moronic ruling, the court stated in part as follows.

• “The parties dispute whether section 13365(a) requires the DMV to receive notification of a violation of the Misdemeanor Statute before it suspends a license following a failure to appear. The issue is easily resolved.”
• “The plain language of §13365(a) requires notification of a violation of §40508 before the DMV is authorized to suspend a license.”
• “To find no such notification required would render this statutory language a nullity.”

How is it possible that someone can sit on the bench and be totally ignorant of the meaning of a California Statute which is as simple to understand as set forth by the appellate court above.

It goes without saying that Ioana the Boob doesn’t much give a damn when she’s overturned (rebuked in truth) by the appellate court since she is well aware that no California judge has ever been tossed off the bench for being an incompetent boob.
