Attorney Ryan Gilman of Colorado Springs, CO; cheating loser

The state of Colorado provided Ryan Charles Gilman with a law license in 2011 after he graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law.

The Colorado State Bar found Ryan guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to maintain copies of all written communications setting forth the basis or rate for his fees
  • Failed to consult with a client about how the client’s objectives were to be accomplished
  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
  • Knowingly disobeyed obligation under the rules of a tribunal
  • Failed to protect client interests upon being terminated
  • Failed to return unearned fees and papers belong to client upon termination
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Charged an unreasonable or amount for expenses (cheater)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Ryan by gifting him, with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license as of March 2020.

As we speak (ca. June 2020), Ryan will resume his so-called practice of law with the Dickson Law Group at 605 South Tejon Street in Colorado Springs, Colorado in early 2023.
