Attorney Holly Crampton of Houston; ethical goblin

The state of Texas presented Holly Gail Crampton with a law license in 1976 after she graduated from South Texas University School of Law.

FYI:  South Texas is ranked as the 165th best law school in the country out of 200 ABA (American Bar Association) accredited law schools.

The 405th Judicial District Court of Galveston County found Holly guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Neglected legal matter entrusted to her
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
  • Failed to promptly comply with client information requests
  • Failed to explain the legal matter to the extent necessary to permit her client to make informed decisions
  • Failed to decline representation or withdraw when the representation resulted in violation of a disciplinary rule

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Holly by gifting her with a complimentary 30-day suspension of her law license and assessed investigative costs of $6,714.47.

As we speak (ca. June 2020) Holly practices at 10900 Northwest Freeway in Houston, Texas.
