Attorney Steven Hayden of Dallas, TX; ethical goblin

The state of Texas presented Paul Craig Laird II with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from Southern Methodist University (SMU) School of Law.

The District 6 Grievance Committee found Stevie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to promptly present DA’s plea offer to client
• Finally, disclosed plea deal to client one month after the fact
• Revealed confidential client information about another client without the consent of said client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
