Solicitor Stephen Goldberg of London, England; ethical gnome

The Law Society presented Martin Daniel with a law license in 1970 after he graduated from the Cardiff University School of Law.

The Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal has charged Marty guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Made payments from his firm’s client account other than in circumstances in which such payments were properly due to the recipients
  • Created ledgers which did not accurately identify the individual or company for which his Firm was acting
  • Failed to maintain proper accounting records of his dealings with client monies
  • Caused or allowed for the creation of client ledgers using a generic trading name rather than the legal identities of the clients to which such ledgers related

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal punished Marty by gifting him with a complimentary fine of £2,000 and assessed investigative costs of £13,500.

As we speak (ca. June 2020), Stevie practices with OGR Stock Denton LLP at ): Winston House, 2nd Floor, 2 Dollis Park in London, England.
