Attorney William Tinch of Middletown, OH; thieving slacker

The state of Ohio presented William Matthew Tinch with a law license in 2011 after he graduated from Liberty University  School of Law.

Disciplinary Counsel found Billy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Billy!)
  • Misappropriated client funds (theif)
  • Failed to communicate with clients
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Missled client meetings
  • Failed to appear at court hearings on behalf of his clients
  • Failed to diligently pursue client objectives
  • Charged with forging his law firm’s endorsement on a $10,500 personal injury check
  • Pled guilty to forgery and petty theft
  • Pled guilty to first-degree misdemeanor count of attempted trespass for breaking into his mother-in-law’s home and leaving a message on her computer

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on Ohio Supreme Court punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2020), Billy practices with Tinch Law at 301 North Breiel Blvd in Middletown, Ohio.
