Attorney John Koselka of Adrian, MI; ethical troll

The state of Michigan presented John J. Koselka with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from Notre Dame University School of Law. 

The Washtenaw County Hearing Panel #6 found Johnny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Ordered to pay $2,000 in restitution to former client [victim]
• Used funds from an estate and from a settlement in an unrelated matter held in his firm’s IOLTA trust account to pay his personal and business expenses
• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Conduct and/or knowingly assisted or induced another to do

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license effective February 21, 2020.

As we speak (ca. June 2020), Art will resume his practice with Koselka DeVine PLC in early February 2021 at 1546 West Maumee Street in Adrian, Michigan.
