The state of Texas presented D’Metria V. Benson with a law license in 1984 after she graduated from the University of Texas School of Law. 

 

A 2019 survey of 282 Dallas area attorneys as to the lack of attributes that qualify Judge Williams to remain on the bench are as follows.

  • 77%: Did not approve of his overall performance
  • 74%: She lacks knowledge of the law (moron)
  • 71%: She is not impartial (biased)
  • 68%: She is not prepared for trials
  • 68%: She fails to demonstrate proper demeanor and judicial temperament
  • 67%: She delays in issuing orders and opinions (slacker)

As we speak (ca. May 2020), D’Metria continues to sit as a County Court at Law Judge in Dallas, Texas.
