Attorney Darren Day of Greenville, NC; slacker, loser

The state of North Carolina presented Darren Orville Day with a law license in 2007 after he graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Law.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Darren guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed notify his client that he would not appeal suspension of his driver’s license until the deadline for appeal had passed
  • Failed to reasonably consult with his client about how his client’s objectives are to be accomplished
  • Failed keep his client reasonably informed about the status of the matter

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Darren by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Darren fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.daylawfirm.net.. Apparently, Darren decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients so that he would not limit his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. September 2021), Darren practices with the Day Law Firm at 209 South Evans Street in Greenville, North Carolina.
