Attorney David Smith of Greensboro, NC; slacker, loser

The state of North Carolina presented David B. Smith with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from North Carolina A&T University of School of Law.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Davie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Misconduct had significant negative impact on Davey’s conduct on the legal community and on the criminal justice system
  • Failed to abide by client objectives regarding the representation
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Intentionally prejudiced or damaged his client during the professional relationship

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Davie by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 3-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the North Carolina Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Davie.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Davey fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.dbsmithattorney.com. Apparently, Davey felt it was in his financial interest to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients so that she would not limit his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. May 2021), David practices at 100 South Elm Street in Greensboro, North Carolina.
