Attorney John Oates Jr. of Raleigh, NC; ethical dwarf

The state of North Carolina presented John F. Oates Jr. with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Johnny!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2020) Johnny practices with the Department of Justice at 1505 Mail Service Center in Raleigh, North Carolina.
