Attorney Jeffrey J. Neppl of Rock Island, IL; convicted drug dealer

The state of Illinois provided Jeffrey J. Neppl with a law license in 1995.

Several years ago Jeffrey was sentenced to nearly four years in a federal prison for using his law office as a “stash house” for cocaine.

The feds said that Jeff started dealing cocaine in early 2004, and in the summer of that year let a fellow drug dealer, was afraid of being arrested; hide cocaine in a safe hidden in the ceiling of his office.

After his conviction, the Illinois Supreme Court suspended Jeffrey’s law license for four years.

In 2011 Jeff the Drug Pusher applied to the State Bar for reinstatement of his law license. The Bar supported Jeff’s application and recommended to the Supreme Court that it reinstate his law license.

Because the justices on the Illinois Supreme Court are more interested in protecting a convicted felon’s right to earn a dishonest living as an attorney, they reinstated Jeff’s license in late 2011.

To be fair, Jeffrey isn’t the only felon that the Illinois Surpeme Court has foisted upon the public by allowing them to practice law. Is it any wonder that most folks in Illinois have total contempt for the Legal Industry?

As we speak (ca. April 2012) Jeff the Drug Pusher is practicing law at 1705 2nd Avenue in Rock Island, Illinois, which is about 3 miles south of Davenport, Iowa.
