California State Senator Dean Florez; ethical leprechaun

Senator Dean Florez succeeded in bamboozling the voters in Bakersfield to elect him to the state Assembly and Senate despite his obvious ethical infirmities.

Senator Dean Florez is yet another ethical dwarf that was of the opinion that the overtaxed citizens of the San Francisco bay area had a duty to provide him with luxury cars of his choosing.

The costs to the taxpayers to provide Senator Dean Florez with vehicles of his choosing from late 2002 to early 2007 are as follows:
  • $97,352 = two cars while in state Senate
  • $60,000 = two cars while in state Assembly (estimate)
  • $39,046 = lease costs for cars
  • $18,361 = maintenance costs for cars
  • $47,838 = fuel costs for cars
  • $4,500 = liability insurance for cars
  • $267,097 = total costs for cars = $26,710 yearly average
Below are the details of how Senator Dean Florez went about hosing the public for ten (10) years.

On his senate web site Senator Dean Florez (aka, Mr. Hyperbole) has the audacity to state he “has been an outspoken leader in the area of government accountability.” In proving he’s the poster child for hyperbole (BS) Senator Dean Florez also has the chutzpah to promote himself on his web site by saying, “In his decade in the Legislature, he has spearheaded numerous investigate hearings with a strong focus on government oversight.” If these bullshit comments were true and they clearly ain’t, then why hasn’t Mr. Dean Florez demanded accountability in regards to the egregious abuses and/or outright fraud involving legislators providing themselves with luxury cars on the taxpayer’s dime? To ask the question is to answer it, right?

It’s pretty clear to me that Motor-mouth Florez ain’t about to demand an accounting of how he and his cohorts have and continue to bilk the public in this regard. Put simply, don’t hold your breath for Mr. Hyperbole to come to the rescue!
