Attorney Gerald Noble of Portland, OR; cheating loser

The State of Oregon presented Gerald Nobel with a law license in 2010 after he graduated from Williamette University of Law.

FYI: Williamette University School of Law is ranked as the 178^th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA (American Bar Association) accredited law schools.

The Disciplinary Counsel found Gerry guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to communicate with client
• Charged an excessive fee (cheater)
• Engaged in prohibited business transaction with client
• Failed to provide timely status updates
• Failed to respond to client information requests
• Failed to provide client with his settlement communications with opposing counsel
• Engage in illegal practice of law while license suspended
• Asked for a secured loan from client to pay his PLF premiums, which was not reduced to writing and was not repaid
• Withdrawal billing statement double-billed client for several items and charged her for tasks that were either related to his own interest of or no benefit to the client
• Charged client three hours for preparing the billing statement
• Billed client for attorney services for time he spent while he was suspended 

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Gerry by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.
