Attorney Milton Goff of Durham, NC; moronic slacker

The state of North Carolina presented Milton Tremayne Goff with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from North Carolina Central University Law School.

FYI: North Carolina Central University School of Law is ranked as the 168^th best law school in the country out of 200 ABA (American Bar Association) accredited law schools.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Milt guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to notify client of trial date in small claims matter
• Failure to appear at trial led to dismissal of client’s case with prejudice
• Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Intentionally prejudiced or damaged client
• Failed to show a lack of remorse
• Failed to appreciate conduct violated the Rules of Professional Conduct

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Milt by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
