Attorney Erika Huebschman of Portland, OR; lying loser

The State of Oregon presented Erika Huebschman with a law license in 2013 after she graduated from Whittier University School of Law.

The Disciplinary Counsel found Erika guilty of the following misconduct.

• Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to promptly deliver client property to client
• Knowingly made false statement to ethics investigators (Screw you, said Erika!)
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in the illegal practice of law while license suspended
• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Erika!)
• Lied in her reinstatement affidavit that she did not practice law during her suspension (perjury)

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Erika by gifting her with a complimentary 6-month suspension of her law license.

And lastly, because Attorney Misfits in Oregon are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Erika was never criminally charged or prosecuted for perjury.
