Former Judge Joselito Villarosa of the Philippines; imbecile, scofflaw

The Philippine Supreme Court provided Joselito C. Villarosa with a law license in 1974 after he graduated from the University of the Philippines School of Law.

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines found Judge Villarosa guilty of the following misconduct.

Joselito’s 1st bite at the Judicial Misfit Apple Tree

  • Guilty of gross ignorance of the law (idiot)
  • Guilty of gross inefficiency
  • Engaged in serious misconduct

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Republic of the Philippines Supreme Court punished Judge Villarosa by gifting him with a complimentary Ten Thousand Pesos (P10,000) fine and a stern warning that similar conduct in the future would be dealt with more severely.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Republic of the Philippines Supreme Court punished Judge Villarosa by gifting him with a complimentary Twenty Thousand Pesos (P20,000) fine and a stern warning that similar conduct in the future would be dealt with more severely.

Joselito’s 3rd bite at the Judicial Misfit Apple Tree

  • Favored moneyed litigants in commercial cases even if their cases were without merit
  • Had a history of issuing decisions that were eventually reversed or revoked by the Court of Appeals
  • Engaged in several irregularities in issuing temporary restraining order against the Department of Transportation and Communications in the procurement of 48 trains cars amounting to 3.77 billion Pesos on a motion of a losing bidder
  • Failed to transfer various commercial cases despite requirement to so act
  • Guilty of four counts of gross ignorance of the law (moron)
  • Repeatedly and knowingly violated Supreme Court rules, directives and circulars (Up yours, said Jose!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Republic of the Philippines Supreme Court punished Judge Villarosa by ordering that he forfeit all of his retirement benefits except accrued leave credits, and imposed the accessory penalty of disqualification from reinstatement or appointment to any public office, including government-owned and controlled corporations, and fined a total of 140,000 Pesos.

As we speak (ca. September 2020), it is rumored that Judge Villarosa has applied for a job as a greeter at the Pleasure Place Strip Club at 290 Tomas Morato in Quezon City, Manila, Philippines.
