Judge Gaydifredo Ocampo of the Philippines; slacker, loser

The Philippine Supreme Court provided Gaydifredo T. Ocampo with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from the University of the Philippines School of Law.

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines found Judge Ocampo guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in undue delay in rendering a decision

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Republic of the Philippines Supreme Court punished Judge Ocampo by gifting him with a complimentary Eleven Thousand Pesos (P11,000) fine and a stern warning that similar conduct in the future would be dealt with more severely.

It should be noted that had Judge Ocampo acted in the same negligent manner as a Common Pleas Judge in Ohio or a Superior Court judge in California disciplinary charges would never have been filed against him.

As we speak (ca. September 2020), Ocampo continues to sit as a First Municipal Circuit Trial Court Judge in Tupi, South Cotabato, Philippines.
