Solicitor Andrew Good of London, England; cheating loser

The Law Society presented Andrew Mark Cyril Good with a law license in 1998.

The Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal found Andy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Caused the firm to routinely overcharge by rendering bills of costs which were, and which he knew to be, excessive and often grossly excessive as regards hourly rates and success fees
  • Conduct was motivated by his desire for profitability which was not itself a reason for criticism; however, in pursuit of that desire he had lost sight of his professional obligations
  • Conduct lacked objective integrity

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Tribunal punished Andy by gifting him with a complimentary fine of £30,000 (US $36,648.42) and ordered to pay costs of £36,000 (US $43,984.31).

As we speak (ca. September 2020), Andy practices in Middlesex, England.
