The Law Society presented Zain Ul-Aqtab Siddiqi with a law license in 2004.

 

The Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal found Zain guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Made statements within a proposal form for professional indemnity insurance submitted upon behalf of Saints Solicitors which were inaccurate
  • Dealings of client money was not properly written up in the firms’ books of accounts
  • Held cash belong to a client otherwise than in the firm’s client account
  • Improperly held office money to the value of £10,272.25 (US $12,553.75) in the firm’s client account
  • Violated numerous mandatory client accounting rules
  • Failed to write up its dealings with office money relating to any client matter in the office side of the appropriate client ledger accounts

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Tribunal punished Zain by gifting him with a complimentary fine of £15,000 (US $18,334.12) and ordered to pay costs of £2,000 (US $2,444.92).

 

As we speak (ca. May 2020), Zain practices with Archways Manchester Limited at 1 Bent Street in Manchester, Lancashire, England.
