Attorney George Olmstead of Laverne, OK; convicted felon

The state of Oklahoma provided George Wayne Olmstead with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from the University of Tulsa School of Law.

The Oklahoma Bar Association found George guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which took place while George was the duly elected Associate District Judge for Harper County, Oklahoma.

  • Convicted of willfully exceeded the limits of authorization and damaged, modified, altered, destroyed, copied, deleted, disclosed or took possession of a computer, computer system, computer network or any other property, a felony
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oklahoma Supreme Court punished George by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2020), George practices in Laverne, Oklahoma.
