Attorney Mitchell Drucker of Smithtown, NY; securities cheat

The state of New York presented Mitchell S. Drucker with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from Touro University School of Law.

FYI: Touro University is ranked as the 178th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools.

The Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards found Mitch guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Mitch and his Daddy engaged in unlawful insider trading by selling shares one day before negative earnings were reported by the company in question
  • Betrayed the trust of his client for his own benefit and for the benefit of his father and his best friend
  • Failed to cooperate with Securities Commission (Screw you, said Mitch!)
  • Mislead his employer
  • Committed perjury on the witness stand during a trial involving securities issue
  • Obtained insider information prior to selling his stock
  • Ordered to disgorge (refund) $197,243 regarding insider stock trade
  • Disgorgement amount plus civil penalties ordered to be paid by Mitch was $394,486
  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, deceit, fraud, or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the patrons for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards punished Howie by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As one would suspect, Mitch fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.lilawfirm.com.

Apparently, Mitch decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients so that he would not limit his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. June 2020) Mitch practices with the Law Office of Mitchell S. Drucker at 9 Singer Lane in Smithtown, New York.
