Attorney Mark Bonilla of Bellmore, NY; convicted thief

The state of New York presented Mark A. Bonilla with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from Touro University School of Law.

FYI: Touro University is ranked as the 178th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools.

The Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards found Mark guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Convicted of coercion in the second degree
  • Convicted of attempt petit larceny

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the patrons for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards punished Mark by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2020), Johnny practices at 525 Briggs Street in Bellmore, New York.
