Attorney Charles Skinner of Waxahachie, TX; ethical gnome

The state of Texas provided Charles Wesley Skinner with a law license in 2012 after he graduated from Michigan State University School of Law.

The District 7 Grievance Committee found Charlie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Commingled client estate funds with his personal funds
  • Failed to keep complete records of client estate funds
  • Failed to promptly deliver to client estate funds and other estate property that the client was lawfully entitled to receive
  • Failed to promptly render full account regarding estate funds and property

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Charlie by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 4-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Charlie.

As one would suspect, Charlie and his firm fail to mention the misconduct set forth above on their self-serving website at www.charlesskinnerlaw.com.  Apparently, they decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients so that he would not limit his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. June 2021), Charlie practices with the Law Offices of Charles Wesley Skinner at 215 West Franklin Street in Waxahachie, Texas.
