Attorney Howard Burger of Kenilworth, NJ; ethical troll

The state of New Jersey presented Howard Burger with a law license in 1974 after she graduated from Boston University School of Law.  

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Howie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation
• Negligently misappropriated [stole] client trust funds
• Failed to comply with recordkeeping requirements

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Howie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

Because Attorney Misfits in New Jersey are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, he was never criminally charged with writing bad checks.

As one would suspect, Howie fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.hjburgerlaw.com.

Apparently, Howie decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients so that he would not limit his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. May 2020) Howie practices with Howard J. Burger & Associates at 525 Boulevard in Kenilworth, New Jersey.
