Attorney Lamouria Boyd of Newark, NJ; ethical dwarf

The state of New Jersey presented Lamouria Boyd with a law license in 1996 after she graduated from Rutgers University School of Law.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Lamouria guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to communicate in writing the rate or basis of her fee
  • Failed to comply with applicable law when terminating representation

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Lamouria by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. May 2020) Lamouria practices at 17 Academy Street in Newark, New Jersey.
