Attorney Leszek Dowgier of Elizabeth, NJ; convicted drunk

The state of New Jersey presented Leszek Dowgier with a law license in 2011 after he graduated from New York University (NYU) School of Law.  

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Leszek guilty of the following misconduct.

• Convicted of third-degree eluding a police officer
• Convicted of driving under the influence (DUI)
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Leszek by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2020) Leszek practices at 518 Westminster Avenue in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
