Attorney Rodney Toth of Charlotte, NC; ethical misfit

The state of North Carolina presented Rodney Sheldon Toth with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Law.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Rod guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to promptly disburse funds received on behalf of his clients
• Failed to maintain the minimum required records under the North Carolina Bar rules of professional conduct
• Misconduct involved client matters dealing with real estate closings and personal injury claims

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Rod by gifting him with a complimentary 91-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2020), Rod practices at 3220 Prosperity Church Road in Charlotte, North Carolina.
