Attorney Carter Picotte of Helena, MT; slacker, repeat offender
The state of Montana presented Jeffrey D. Mora with a law license in 1974 after he graduated from the University of Montana School of Law.
The Office of Disciplinary Counsel of Montana (ODC) found Carter guilty of the following misconduct, which related to his actions as attorney with the Montana Public Employees Association (MPEA) in handling a grievance filed by Robert Chase against the City of Bozeman.
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Montana Supreme Court punished Carter by gifting him with a complimentary 7-month suspension of his law license.
As one would suspect, this was not Carter’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license for engaging in a variety of misconduct.
As we speak (ca. May 2020), Carter practices at 317 Cutler Street in Helena, Montana.
