Attorney Matthew Laurich of Alberta, CAN; moronic loser

The Law Society of Alberta presented Matthew R. Laurich with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from the University of Alberta School of Law.

The Alberta Law Society Disciplinary Counsel found Matty guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Allowed himself to be used as a dupe repeatedly and over several condominium projects, with many individual transactions, and in the face of many and quite obvious warning signs that something was amiss
• Matty’s actions put many millions of dollars in bank funds at risk
• Proceeded in circumstances where he did not understand the underlying transactions (moron)
• Failed, in spectacular fashion, to protect the interests of his clients

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Counsel punished Matty by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license and assessed costs of $46,851.58.
