Attorney Carrie Legus of St. Johnsbury, VT; Annie Oakley Wannabee

The state of Vermont presented Carrie Legus with a law license in 1995 after she graduated from the Vermont School of Law.

The Vermont Bar Court is investigating Carrie for engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Accused of pulling a gun on a store clerk
  • Carrie allegedly complained about a sign promoting social distancing and tried to knock it down, according to a police affidavit
  • When a store clerk asked Carrie to stop, she allegedly pulled out her gun and pointed it at the clerk
  • After leaving the store, Carrie was arrested shortly thereafter

All that’s left now is to see how long it takes for Carrie to cop a plea to reduce the amount of time she spends in jail.

As to any punishment she might receive from the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court, at worst she’ll likely receive a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2020), Carrie practices at 90 Prospect Street in St. Johnsbury, Vermont.
