Attorney Ralph Downs III of Springfield, MO; cheating loser

The state of Arkansas provided Ralph Aaron Downs III with law license in 1994 after he graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Law.

The Committee on Professional Conduct found Ralphie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Slow to take any action on client matter
  • Failed to get service on ex-wife after he filed a child custody petition
  • Client could not reach Ralphie for several months
  • Failed to refund $500 retainer when requested by client (cheater)
  • Ordered to refund unearned $500 retainer

As one would suspect, this was not Ralphie’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary 4-month suspension of his law license for failing to comply with annual Continuing Legal Education requirements.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Ralphie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. April 2020), Ralphie practices at 1150 South Kimbrough Avenue in Springfield, Arkansas.
