Attorney Lynne Morgan of Portland, OR; ethical goblin

The State of Oregon presented Lynne B. Morgan with a law license in 1989 after she graduated from Lewis & Clark College School of Law.

The Disciplinary Counsel found Lynne guilty of the following misconduct.

• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to maintain client funds paid in advance in trust until fees are earned or costs are incurred
• Failed to promptly deliver and, upon request, failing to render an accounting of, client funds
• Misconduct involved multiple offenses

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Lynne by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.
