Attorney Lyle Bosket of Salem, OR; ethical ogre

The State of Oregon presented Lyle Bosket with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from the University of Tulsa School of Law.

The Disciplinary Counsel found Lyle guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
  • Failed to comply with client information requests
  • Failed to decline or withdraw from representation where the lawyer’s physical or mental condition materially impaired his ability
  • to represent his client
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Lyle by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 30-day suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Lyle.

As one would suspect, Lyle and his firm fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on their self-serving website at www.gattilaw.com. Apparently, they decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients so that he would not limit his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. April 2020), Lyle practices with The Gatti Law Firm at 235 Front Street SE in Salem, Oregon.
