Attorney Gregory Lattimer of DC; scamming slacker

The District of Columbia Bar presented Gregory L. Latimer with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from Columbia University School of Law

The DC Bar Counsel found Greg guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Falsely certified that he had provided his expert’s preliminary report to counsel on November 21 even though the expert did not submit the (undated) preliminary report to Greg until November 26
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Filed a sham lawsuit against a former client
  • Continued insistence that sham suit v. former client had some merit
  • Ignorant of the DC Bar Rules regarding protection for complainants filing ethics complaints (moron) against lawsuits from former counsel due to absolute privilege provided to complainants
  • Failed to adequately communicate with his client
  • Instead of accepting responsibility for his misconduct, Greg seeks to blame others, most frequently his clients
  • Failed to timely engage expert witness in pursuit of client claims

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Bar Counsel punished Greg by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2020), Greg practices at 1200 G Street NW in Washington, DC.
