Attorney Bruce Morrissey of Englewood Cliffs, NJ; ethical troll

The state of New Jersey presented Bruce C. Morrissey with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Bruce guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to explain a matter to the extent reasonably necessary for the client to make informed decisions about the representation
• Failed communicate, in writing, the basis or rate of his fee
• Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Bruce by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. April 2020) Bruce practices at 456 Sylvan Lane in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey.
