Attorney Charles Taylor of McLean, VA; ethical gremlin

The State of Virginia provided Charles Edwin Taylor with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary found Charlie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Charlie!)
  • Failed to pay filing fee regarding estate matter
  • Miscategorized certain bank accounts and real estate involving estate matter
  • Failed to amend inventory or pay additional $30 filling fee on client’s behalf in estate matter
  • Failed to comply with summons demanding compliance with requirement to file inventory on client’s behalf in a pending estate matter (Up yours, said Charlie!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Virginia Bar Disciplinary Board punished Charlie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. April 2020), Charlie practices at 1311-A Dolley Madison Blvd in McLean, Virginia.
