DA Gregory Newman of Hendersonville, NC; liar, repeat offender

The State of North Carolina provided Gregory A. Newman with a law license in 2000 after she graduated from Pepperdine University School of Law.

FYI: Former Gov. Pat McCrory was duped into appointing Greg as District Attorney for District 42 in Hendersonville, North Carolina. Greg didn’t receive the appointment because he was the most qualified attorney in the greater Hendersonville area. He received it because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Greg guilty of the following misconduct.

Greg’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Knowingly made a material representation of fact re: client representation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee punished Charlie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

Greg’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

The following misconduct took place while Greg was employed as District Attorney

• Falsely informed court that the victim of a sexual assault had been notified of the plea deal and did not want to be heard
• Made a false statement of material fact to a tribunal (Up yours, said Greg!)
• Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit and misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to correct a false statement of material fact previously made to a tribunal
• Knowingly lied to ethics investigators (Screw you, said Greg!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee punished Greg by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak, (ca. April 2020), Greg continues to act as the Hendersonville DA in Hendersonville, North Carolina.
