Attorney George Barker Jr. of Meadowview, VA; convicted druggie

The State of Virginia provided George Ed Barker Jr. with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from the William & Mary University School of Law.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary found George guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Felony arrest warrant issued for selling, giving, or distributing Schedule III controlled substance
  • Felony Arrest resulted from George’s passage of tri-folded papers, which included two of his business cards that were bonded together with a suboxone strip secreted between them, to his client at counsel’s table in a courtroom at the Washington County Courthouse, at a time his client was in custody
  • Entered in Alford plea of guilty to three misdemeanor charges, including possession of a Schedule ID substance and delivery or attempt to deliver articles to a prisoner

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Virginia Bar Disciplinary Board punished Charlie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. April 2020), George practices at 28548 Hawthorne Drive in Meadowview, Virginia.
