Barrister Jonathan Simpson of London, UK; convicted stalker

The Bar of England and Wales by Gray’s Inn provided Jonathan Simpson with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from the University of Bristol School of Law.

The Bar Standards Board found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Convicted of stalking former partner
• Stalking caused female partner serious alarm and distress
• Six-month jail sentence suspended for 12 months

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Barrister Misfits sitting on the Bar Standards Board punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.
