Michael Savage: Today’s “Chief Medical Quack” Award Winner

This isn’t the first Award presented to Mikey. In the past, he has been the recipient of seventy (70) Awards in various categories and the subject of one (1) opinion piece. Those awards and opinion piece are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.

During a recent (ca. April 20120) episode of his daily comedy radio show “The Savage Nation,” Michael “The Wean” Savage (real name Michael Wiener) decided it was time to further prove that he’s a Monumental Moron.

In this instance, Mikey decided to play the role of Chief Medicine Man for the US regarding the Coronavirus pandemic. Towards that end, Dr. Mike spewed forth the following BS to be digested by his low I.Q. followers.

• “Eventually we are going to reach a middle ground on this. We are going to reach what I have been calling for two months: selective quarantine.”
• “Once cooler heads prevail in the White House and in the CDC and they push the grandstander [Dr. Anthony] Fauci into a laboratory where he belongs.”
• “I don't think he's seen a laboratory as long as I haven't seen a laboratory.”
• “He's a PR man, he's a showman. He's the P.T. Barnum of the COVID virus.”
• “Everywhere you turn there he is, Fauci the savior. It's enough with Fauci already.”
• “Now all of a sudden you can't get a scintilla of information from the government about this virus unless it goes through Fauci's department, whatever that department may be.”

Let’s take a minute and review the backgrounds and histories of Dr. Fauci and that of Dr. Savage.

Dr. Fauci’s medical curriculum vitae (resume)

• Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (1984 to 2020)
• Graduate of Columbia University Medical School, graduating 1^st in his class
• Member of the National Academy of Medicine
• Developed therapies for formerly fatal diseases such as polyarteritis nodosa, granulomatosis with polyangiitis, and lymphomatoid granulomatosis
• Member of the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters
• Member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America
• Member of the American Association of Immunologists
• Authored, coauthored or edited more than 1,000 scientific publications, including several textbooks
• Ranked by Google as the 41^st most highly cited researcher of all time
• Ranked 8^th out of more than 2.2 million authors in the field of immunology by total citation count between 1980 and January 2019 (source: Web of Science)

Now, lets compare Mikey’s medical curriculum vitae (resume) against that of Dr. Fauci.

• Master of Science degree from University of Hawaii at Manoa in botany (study of plants)
• Master of Arts degree from University of Hawaii at Manoa in anthropology (study of human behavior and societies)
• PhD from UC Berkeley in nutria ethnomedicine (comparison of traditional medicine based on bioactive compounds in plants and animals among various ethnic groups)
• Former CBS reporter Bernard Goldberg ranked Mikey as number 71 in his book “100 People Who Are Screwing Up America”
• David Klinghoffer, a National Review columnist, stated that The Savage Nation “is an act, a put-on”
• Several progressive advocacy groups have rightfully accused Mikey of racism, homophobia, transphobia, and Islamophobia due to his obscene statements about homosexuality, Islam, feminism, sex education, and immigration
• Banned from entering the United Kingdom because he was engaging in unacceptable behavior aimed at provoking other to serious criminal acts and fostering hatred involving Muslims

Now folks, if you were seeking medical advice regarding the Coronavirus, the Flu or any other medical problem you and/or a member of your family was suffering from, who would you contact? To ask the question is to answer it, right?
