Judge Douglas Gardner of Herkimer, NY; moronic loser

The New York Commission on Judicial Conduct found Doug guilty of the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was employed as a Justice of the Manheim Town Court in Herkimer County.

• Received $743 in cash payments for fines and failed to deposit those funds in his court bank account
• Failed to retain copies of receipts for cash payments he received as the law required
• Received cash payment of $150 from two separate defendants as payment for a fine, but failed to deposit the cash into his court bank account
• Received $243 in cash from Timothy Putman as payment for a fine and surcharge, but failed to deposit said cash into his court bank account
• On June 5, 2018, falsely certified to the State Comptroller that there was "no activity to report," when in fact he had collected a total of$543 in cash from three defendants
• On November 26, 2018, falsely certified to the State Comptroller that there was "no activity to report," when in fact he had collected $200 in fines from Mr. Shipley
• Failed to uphold the integrity of the judiciary
• Failed to maintain high standards of conduct
• Failed to avoid impropriety or the appearance of impropriety
• Failed to perform judicial duties impartially
• Failed to maintain professional competence in the law (moron)
• Failed to be faithful to the law

Knowing that he would be tossed off the bench, Doug did what most cowardly judges do, he resigned and agreed to never seek another judicial office in New York for the balance of his loser life.

As we speak (ca. April 2020), it is rumored that Doug has applied for a job as a greeter at the Walmart Supercenter located at 103 North Caroline Street in Herkimer, New York.
