Attorney Jack McNamee of Birmingham, AL; tax scofflaw extraordinaire

The state of Alabama presented Jack Bernard McNamee with a law license in 1971 after he graduated from Samford University School of Law.

The Alabama State Bar Association found Jackie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to pay personal income taxes for three consecutive years
• Failed to pay to the IRS withheld employee taxes for two years
• engage in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation
• Engage in any other conduct that adversely reflects on his fitness to practice law
• IRS had valid liens against Jackie for unpaid personal taxes and withheld employee taxes for several years

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Jackie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.  

As we speak (ca. April 2020), Jackie practices at 300 Arrington Blvd in Birmingham, Alabama.
