Attorney Todd W. Bennett of Portage, WI; Dufus, loser

 

The state of Wisconsin presented Todd W. Bennett with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from Valparaiso University.
 
In late 2011, the Wisconsin Supreme Court found Todd guilty of the following misconduct:
  1. Filing frivolous (sham) lawsuits
  2. Misrepresented the truth to his clients (lied)
  3. Failed to competently represent clients (Dufus)
  4. Failed to act diligently in representing clients
  5. Failed to provide written explanation of purpose and effect of advance fee to client
As a consequence of his misconduct the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Todd by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
 
As we speak (ca. April 2012) Todd practices law with Bennett & Bennett LLC at 135 West Cook Street in Portage, Wisconsin, which is about 40 miles north of Madison.
