Attorney Wesley Hutchins of West Jordan, UT; idiotic thief

The State of Utah provided Wesley D. Hutchins with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from the University of Utah School of Law.

The Ethics and Discipline Committee of the Utah Supreme Court found Wesley guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent representation (idiot)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Failed to decline/terminate representation when required to so act
• Made misleading statements concerning his legal services
• Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Wesley!)
• Charged or collected an unreasonable fee (cheater)
• Filed notice of appearance in custody case but never did anything thereafter
• Refused to release client file to client upon demand
• Failed to return unearned fees (thief)
• Failed to provide client written fee agreement in custody matter
• Did not inform his client he would charge for all text messages and/or email correspondence
• Failed to prepare mediation brief prior to mediation hearing
• Sent client invoice for fees that included charges for repeated texts in which the client was requesting information and not receiving any responses

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Utah Supreme Court punished Wesley by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak, (ca. April 2020), Wesley practices with The Hutchins Law Firm at 7923 South Safari Drive in West Jordan, Utah.
