Attorney Jefferson Hunt of South Jordan, UT; convicted druggie

The State of Utah provided Jefferson B. Hunt with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from Brigham Young University (BYU) School of Law.

The Ethics and Discipline Committee of the Utah Supreme Court found Jeff guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Committed a criminal act that reflects adversely on fitness to practice
  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in the illegal practice of law while license suspended
  • Convicted of Possession or Use of a Controlled Substance
  • Convicted of three counts of Attempted Purchase, Transfer, Possession or Use of a Firearm by a Restricted Person

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Utah Supreme Court punished Jeff by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak, (ca. April 2020), Jeff practices at 10653 South River Front Parkway in South Jordan, Utah.
