Attorney Travis Uhlenhopp of Denver; convicted of assaulting girlfriend

The State of Colorado provided Travis Shane Uhlenhopp with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from Pepperdine University School of Law.

Disciplinary Counsel found Travis guilty of the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was a partner in the Chicago firm of Vedder Price.

  • Pled guilty to third-degree assault stemming from fight with his girlfriend
  • Travis struck girlfriend multiple times in the face, causing her several facial contusions, including a black eye and swollen cheek
  • Committed criminal act adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Failed to report criminal convictions to disciplinary authorities

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Travis by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak, (ca. April 2020), Tavis practices with The Wizard Law Firm at 1250 Cherokee Street in Denver, Colorado.
