Attorney David Olson II of Boulder, CO; attempted witness tampering

The State of Colorado provided David L. Olson II with a law license in 2006 after he graduated from the University of Nebraska School of Law.

Disciplinary Counsel found Davie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Convicted of disorderly conduct stemming from domestic spousal dispute
  • On two occasions Davie attempted to persuade his wife to soften her testimony and to avoid the People’s subpoena involving his criminal domestic violence matter
  • Davie attempted to engage in witness tampering
  • Committed criminal act adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Improperly requested a person other than a client to refrain from voluntarily giving relevant information to another party
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Davie by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

Because Attorney Misfits in Colorado are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Davey was never criminal charged with witness tampering or attempted witness tampering.

As we speak, (ca. April 2020), Davie practices with Caplan and Earnest LLC in Boulder, Colorado.
