Attorney Tony Miles of Ogden, UT; slacker, loser

The State of Utah provided Tony B. Miles with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from the University of Utah School of Law.

The Ethics and Discipline Committee of the Utah Supreme Court found Tony guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to expedite client litigation
• Failed act with due diligence (slacker)
• Committed criminal act adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Entered into an agreement for, charged or collected an unreasonable fee
• Pled guilty to two counts of possession of a controlled substance within a correctional facility
• Repeatedly failed to respond to client information requests
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Tony!)
• Judge’s clerk spent two months trying to contact Tony to schedule hearing in his client’s case, but Tony failed to respond
• Failed to appear at pretrial conference on client’s behalf
• Failure to comply with court orders led the judge to removing Tony as his client’s attorney
• Failed to provide client with status updates on her case

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Utah Supreme Court punished Tony by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak, (ca. April 2020), Tony practices with TMiles Law at 6254 South 1574 East in Ogden, Utah.
